Melaa Steps In to Kit Out Tackle Africa’s Summer Tournaments
This summer, Melaa had the privilege of working with Tackle Africa to supply kits for their tournaments in Brighton and Oxford (July 2025). What started as a challenging situation turned into one of our proudest moments of the year.
Tackle Africa, a fantastic charity that uses football coaching to deliver vital sexual health education across Africa, had been let down by a previous kit supplier just weeks before their summer events. With over 500 shirts needed at short notice, they reached out to us for help.
We knew there was no time to waste. Our team quickly set to work, designing and producing multi-coloured kits that would make each team stand out on the pitch. But we didn’t just stop at colour — we added special touches to make the kits truly unique:
- Tackle Africa’s logo inside the shirt numbers
- Custom team names printed on the back (something the players had never had before)
The result? Kits that not only looked great but carried the charity’s identity in every detail.
The feedback from the players and organisers was overwhelmingly positive, and it was a real honour to play a small part in helping their tournaments run smoothly.
